Spin Sessions: An Experience

Experience throwing on the pottery wheel! Geared toward beginners but all welcome. This one-hour Spin Session is designed to be fun and accessible for everyone. A Spin Session focuses on the experience rather than creating a piece to be finished. Leave your expectations at the door and just enjoy the experience of touching and shaping clay.

If you really love what you make, you are welcome to purchase one or more pieces to be finished for an additional cost to cover the additional labor and resources required.

How it works:

  • Instructors give a short demo (10 minutes) of throwing on the wheel, then assist participants.

  • You’ll get dirty, so wear something you don't mind getting a bit covered in clay.

  • We provide everything else and clean up afterwards.

Finishing & Firing

  • $15 per piece for finishing & firing of any pieces you want to keep (includes trimming/finishing, bisque firing, glazing, and glaze firing).

Cancellations

  • In case of illness, please try your best to gift or sell your spot to someone else. We are a small studio and pay our instructors based on number of registered attendees.

  • Cancel more than 72 hours before the session receive a 100% refund (less a 10% processing fee).

  • Cancel 72 hours or less before the workshop receive no refund.

  • No-shows are not refundable.

  • For sessions that do not meet minimum enrollment, or are cancelled due to weather, an instructor illness, or other reasons, registrants will receive a full refund.
