Student Info

Clay
Students get a 25 lb. block of clay included with class registration. If a student wants additional clay, they must purchase additional clay through the Mill Pond website. Reclaimed (white/brown/mixed) clay is available at a discounted price in Mill Pond’s online Shop.

Wheels
Students are not able to reserve a wheel. Wheels outside of class time are first-come, first-served. If reserved by a Member, student will have to relocate.

Guests
Students may not invite guests into the studio to work other than to give a tour of the studio.

Referrals
Existing students enrolled in a session receive a $50 credit if they refer a new student. The new student can note your name during checkout.

We’ve compiled some helpful info on clay, glazing, and other techniques HERE. We also have a YouTube channel where we share helpful videos from other studios and ceramicists.

Studio Handbook
Creating a safe, comfortable, and welcoming clay community is our number one priority. Our Studio Handbook provides polices and how-to guidelines for students, members, and studio tenants. Violations of our studio policies or procedures may result in immediate cancelation of class/workshop participation, membership, or studio tenancy, and ban from the premises. Please make time to read the Mill Pond Studio Handbook.
