ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTORHannah Tripp, of Hannah Tripp Ceramics, is a functional potter working with hand-building techniques. Educated at Maine College of Art & Design, Hannah’s favorite space to play is slab building and altered forms. A range of bright slips and underglazes, along with occasional glaze washes, enable Hannah to create complex surfaces. She enjoys layering and accomplishes this through wax and paper resists, screen-printed decals, paper stencils, and sgraffito carving. Whatever she is making, she’s always enthusiastic.
