Fête Market is collaborating with Mill Pond Ceramics Studio for an extra special market with 40+ vendors. This market will highlight the work of the Southern Maine Clay Guild. In addition to this special ceramics feature, the Biddeford Fete will offer a unique curation of artisan goods from local makers. Not your grandmother’s craft show, Fête Market is your one-stop shop for locally-made, truly unique art.

Fête Market is a volunteer initiative designed to foster a network of entrepreneurs and support Maine’s local art scene. Since its inception in the summer of 2021, Fête Market has acted as a resource for small business exposure—providing a safe space for new entrepreneurs to build relationships, share their craft, and gain lifelong customers. However, it is not just an event for vendors. Fête Market is the perfect, laid-back place to gather with friends and family to enjoy the true Maine experience.

A market by vendors/for vendors, Fête is designed to empower new entrepreneurs by giving them a community with which to share insights, ask questions, and build relationships. Fête Market is entirely volunteer-run and low-fee event in an effort to set it apart from the many other makers markets in Maine. By relying on the community for
crowd-sourced materials, skills, and promotion, Fête Market is able to maintain an exceptionally low barrier to entry for vendors.
