LEVEL Beginner

Get a crash course on how to make simple hand-thrown pottery! This one-hour Spin Session is designed to be fun and accessible for everyone.

IMPORTANT: We do require 72 hours notice so we can make sure an instructor is available.

What to Expect

  • Instructors give a demo of throwing on the wheel, then assist participants individually.

  • You’ll get muddy, so wear something you don't mind getting a bit covered in clay.

  • We do NOT provide aprons.

  • A hand towel is provided.

  • We clean up afterwards.

Finishing & Firing

Want to keep a piece (or pieces)? We charge $15 per piece for finishing & firing, billed following session.

Cancellations

  • Cancel more than 72 hours before the session receive a 100% refund (less a 10% processing fee).

  • Cancel 72 hours or less before the workshop receive no refund.

  • No-shows are not refundable.

  • For sessions cancelled due to weather, an instructor illness, or other reasons beyond MIll Pond’s control, registrants will receive a full refund.
