Spin Session–by Appointment
TIME by appointment.
LEVEL Beginner
Get a crash course on how to make simple hand-thrown pottery! This one-hour Spin Session is designed to be fun and accessible for everyone. The session is meant to be experiential and all clay is recycled. If you want to keep a piece or two, please see below.
What to Expect
Instructors give a demo of throwing on the wheel, then assist participants.
You’ll get dirty, so wear something you don't mind getting a bit covered in clay.
We provide everything else and clean up afterwards.
Finishing & Firing
Want to keep a piece (or pieces) you’ve made during your Spin Session? You can select a glaze color at the studio, then Mill Pond will trim, glaze, and fire the work for you. When your piece is ready to pick up in 2-3 weeks, we’ll notify you. (*If you need work shipped, just let the instructor know and we can send you an estimate.)
$15 per piece for finishing & firing (*Finishing fees are billed following session).

Cancellations
Cancel more than 72 hours before the session receive a 100% refund (less a 10% processing fee).
Cancel 72 hours or less before the workshop receive no refund.
No-shows are not refundable.
For sessions that do not meet minimum enrollment, or are cancelled due to weather, an instructor illness, or other reasons, registrants will receive a full refund.
