Learn how to add serious dimensional texture to your pieces using slip and wet clay for some fantastic surfaces that go beyond carved or painted surfaces.

Several thrown or hand-built forms in a very wet stage, freshly thrown or built with lots of moisture but firm enough to press on.

Kylie Smithline began working with clay in 2014 in high school in Washington State. She took a ceramics class which soon turned into a hobby then became a passion that led into her career. She furthered her education at Jacksonville University. In 2022, she graduated and received a BFA with a concentration in ceramics. Cancellations
One-Week Notice If a registrant cancels one week or more prior to the class start, they receive a full refund (less a $10 processing fee).
Less Than One-Week Notice If a registrant cancels less than one week prior to the class start, they receive a 50% refund.
Once a Class Starts If a registrant cancels once a class has started, we cannot offer any refund.
Mill Pond Cancellations Classes that do not meet minimum enrollment will be canceled at least two days prior to the class start. Registrants will receive a full refund.
Credit We cannot offer credit for future classes for cancellations.
