Using Vinyl Stencils for Surface Decoration with Isabella Rotman

Price: $55 (includes a $5 per person materials fee)
Learn how to use custom cut vinyl stencils to decorate your work. In this workshop we will use stencils cut on a Cricut cutting machine to decorate with underglaze and glaze. Isabella will be providing an array of floral and foliage designs of her own which can be combined to create a variety of shapes and forms.
Want to make your own stencil to use at the workshop? Isabella is happy to cut custom stencils for any students who wish to have stencils made out of their own designs. To take advantage of this opportunity, please email a black-and-white high contrast image with the final size/dimensions of the stencil to Isabella. ONE WEEK BEFORE the workshop. Please direct any questions about designing your stencil to Isabella.
Firing: Members and current Mill Pond students may fire as part of their membership or class. Non-members/non-current students will need to take their work home or to their studio or pay-to-fire at Mill Pond.
Please bring:
Bisqued work ready for decorating. Pottery with a very smooth surface will accept stencils best.
Notebook and pencil
We will have limited underglazes available but if you have underglaze colors you prefer to use please bring them
